our Story
Brad was introduced to clay at 14 and continued working with ceramics through college as a creative outlet. After moving to Leucadia, he began building a small home studio where he taught friends, which naturally grew through word of mouth. Teaching and sharing the process reignited his passion and shaped the foundation of the community-focused studio model.
Ella, who had also explored ceramics in high school, joined the space during the pandemic. Drawn to the sense of community, she brought fresh perspective, organization, and design influence helping the studio develop its identity and grow with intention.
Together, they expanded from Brad’s garage to a second home studio in Oceanside before eventually opening a full studio that maintained the same inviting, home-like atmosphere.
Raw Rhythm Ceramics is simply an extension of that journey - a warm, welcoming space where creativity, connection, and community come together naturally
