What started as a personal passion quickly became a way to connect with others—teaching friends, hosting sessions in his garage, and eventually building a creative community around it.
Brad’s teaching style is relaxed and intuitive. He believes in letting the clay guide you and finding freedom in the process rather than focusing on perfection. For him, ceramics is as much about expression as it is about form—and he brings that philosophy into every class he leads.

Born and raised in Oceanside, John found his passion for ceramics in high school the moment he was introduced to the wheel. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a professional path when he started receiving custom orders for his work.
With a strong production background, John brings precision, focus, and dedication to his craft—while still valuing the expressive, personal side of working with clay. He loves a good challenge and finds joy in helping others push their own creative boundaries. His approach combines skillful technique with an open, encouraging energy that makes students feel both supported and inspired.
